One day, a little girl is sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly notices that her mother has several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast on her brunette head.

She looks at her mother and inquisitively asks, "Why are some of your hairs white, mom?"

Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while, and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"

I guess mommy wasn't a good girl when she was young.. lol.

Well it's official.. today is the first day of summer. So you can only imagine that more and more people will be pulling their hair back with rubber bands. Make sure that you buy rubber bands that do not pull and break the hair. Stay away from rubber bands with metal pieces on them.

Well that's our little piece of information for the day.

What a mild week for weather... oh well can't complain, I'm definitely a 70's and 80's weather kind of person and as for the wife she's definitely an 80's and 90's kinda girl.

But anyway this blog isn't about weather... either way I found a pretty cool hair joke today compliments of smilejokes.com

A guy admired the hair of three girls. He walked by one and asked, How'd you get such lovely blonde hair

Taking her hand and gently running it through her hair, the girl answered, It's natural.

The guy walked by the second girl and asked, How'd you get such pretty brown hair?

Fluffing her hair, the second girl said, It's natural.

Finally the guy approached the third girl and asked, How'd you get such cool green hair?

Taking her hand and rubbing it up past her nose, then skimming it through the hair, she said, It's natural.

If you're looking for a little shine try the Kenra Silkening Mist. I wouldn't recommend it for very coarse hair. This is not a very over bearing product but it adds "just enough" to give you that extra shine that you're looking for.

For those of you that use an edger to line your hair. Make sure that you don't press down hard. Pressing down hard while you edge will leave dark marks on the forehead and scabbing will occur and you'll be stuck with that for "weeks" until it heals. The edger should be pressed down on the hair very "gently" to create or emphasize the hair line that you'd like.

Women that use edgers as well to line your hair should follow the same guideline.
