So how's everyone been doing this week ? Well we've finally broken into Spring but it doesn't really feel like it for most of us out here in the Midwest.. Old man winter doesn't really want to leave yet.. can you blame him; just look at allllllll the snowflake love he's been giving us this winter season. Either way we're back with another helpful hair tip for you...

Tip: This one is good for "everyone"... but particularly for those that have dry hair ALWAYS massage shampoo TWICE and conditioner in with your fingertips. Using your nails can in some instances cause damage and massaging through with "fingertips" also stimulates hair growth.

Alright so here's what I was thinking about today... Figured I'd share a little bit about my childhood today. I guess I'm having a moment thinking about all the mess my hair has been through. Lets just say all of the boys in my family got my moms hair.

That being said it's not really a good thing either. Now I'm not going to put a baby picture up here or anything but I was definitely the epitomy of coarse and nappy hair.. I was the kid with the hair that felt like a sponge back in the day when the "Flat Top" was still considered a hair cut... yeah feel a little sympathy for me now. And ohhh yes... I actually had one of those too.

I can honestly say thank god those days are over !

All those hairstyles galleries have been updated. So check out the new pages. Hopefully they are more appealing than they were before. Man I'm gonna miss those flip pages but the far more simple layout will probably go over with "you" the visitors.

On a side note who wants to be in Ohio right now... 16 inches of snow in 2 days.. give me a break. All I can say is enjoy what we see in Indiana just about every week. Well obviously not that much snow but that doesn't even come close to what we received in total this wintery season.

All jokes aside hopefully if you know anyone in that area or any other area that was hit hard hopefully those loved ones are safe without injury.

Wow bet you're wondering when you're gonna get another hair tip. Well we've got a real simple one for you today. It's funny how the really simple tips are the ones that you really never pay much attention to but keep in mind no matter how small the tip is, even the slightest tidbit of information can help you on your journey to great hair everyday.

Tip: The healthier you are the faster your hair will grow.

So if you're one of those people wondering what can I do to make my hair grow faster just keep in mind the way you live, eat and exercise has quite an impact on how your hair grows.

Well out of surgery, but still in pain... I don't think there's much difference between opening you up to fix a hernia or doing it with the cameras. I walk for a few minutes and I'm ready to go back to sleep.. but I say that cheerfully.. hopefully one more week and I'll be back to "normal" or as normal as one can be after such a procedure.

Usually I wouldn't wait this long to post something but health is the priority. On another hair raising topic.. nearly 9 inches of snow in 3 days this week. I've never seen it snow so generously in one area in all my life. To that I say, "only in Indiana".

Though Indiana has never claimed itself to be the trendy mecca of the world there's something to be said for it's positive hospitality. With all that snow, kind strangers were nice enough to remove the snow... It was nice to wake up, look outside the window one minute and see tons of snow and then to much surprise look out later and see the snow removed from our driveway. To that I say, "only in Indiana" but I'm sure there are acts of such kindness elsewhere in the world too. Not to mention the flowers received from work just to check in on their wounded employee.

2008 continues to demonstrate it's unpredictability with all the up's and down's so far but just as you do, we will continue to take it in stride. We were supposed to find out the sex of the baby last week but again speaking of unpredictability that was momentarily interrupted. So we try again this coming week to find out what we're having and maybe I'll find out why I've been taking so long to recover as well. The doctors don't always get it right either.
