Get a recommendation from a friend. If you like someone’s hair, ask them who did it… you’ll be giving her an amazing compliment.
Find a salon that “fits” you.
(1) Visit a salon or drive by to see if it looks like a place that you’d like to go to have your hair done
(2) I recommend going in (pretend to look at hair products and see what kind of feel that you get for the place)
(3) Look at the stylists - Is the hairstylist right for me ?
(4) A good stylist should look the part. (if her hair doesn’t look good and her makeup isn’t done I don’t recommend seeing that stylist) if she doesn’t take care of herself she is not going to take care of you.
