For those of you that find it hard to find those good layered hairstyles. They are a great look for a large number of people looking for a new trendy look this year.

Celebrity Kimberly Caldwell and Eva Longoria have been known to wear those hairstyles and wear them well. Hairstyles like this can give you that celebrity look that you may have been looking for lately. Among the large variances of hairstyles out there today you're sure to be a hit with a little layered look on you.

When looking for the right layered haircut you need to determine what type you would like? What kind of hair do you have? Is your hair short, medium, or long? Or is it straight or curly? Whatever it is, layers look great on everyone if they’re done right! Yes, you can really mess them up!

When you’re going for that long sleek look, you want a lot of layers that can look blended but would still look great and piecey if you curl them.
When your hair is curly and you don’t want to look like a triangle you need a skilled stylist! (haha) Seriously though you can still do layers, but the stylist needs to know how they’ll work with your hair texture.

Layers can be long or short. They can be angled around your face, only towards the back, or all over if you’d like.

If you want to add volume to your hair layers will do the trick. Just don’t go too short! If your hair is medium length (to your collar bone) and you’re looking for volume, the shortest layer should be around your nose. If your hair is long don’t cut them shorter than your lip. For short hair, (like an inverted bob) don’t cut them shorter than your eyes, in the back on the cut.

When I go to get my hair cut, they use a razor on it to help the layers frame my face & look edgier. To get it to look good, I straighten it.
