I'm 54 and still wear my hair below my shoulders. I go to a salon to have it shaped and trimmed every 2 months. It feels good and makes me feel good about myself. It troubles me that, invariably, the hairdresser will ask if I'm ready to cut it shorter, 6 or 8 inches or so. I'm just not ready for that, not yet...
