Being Emo is about you.. What you like.. The popular styles are long in the front - short in the back, usually razored and jagged. Add pops of color. Also, for long hair, piecey but super girlie is typically the way it's styled. With a 40's or 50's vibe to it..
With your hair being short, you could flat iron it all forward, apply some pomade and have fun with it!
